Minnesota Representatives begin debate on new Vikings stadium

After a year of planning and speculating, this morning the bill on the new Vikings stadium will be put to a vote by the Minnesota House of Representatives. The Democrats have already promised 34 of the required 68 votes, it's all up to the Republicans now!

The lease at the Metrodome is up, so what's next for the (maybe-not-Minnesota) Vikings? Without a stadium, the team could be moving soon, probably to Los Angeles, unless Minnesota provides one for them. If the bill passes, the stadium plans, which would cost around $1 billion, move ahead, most likely in Arden Hills. If not, well, 2013 could mark a new Los Angeles - based team and Minnesota without an NFL team.

How are you hoping the voting goes?
