Brett Favre Poll has been blowing up... What does it mean for the Minnesota Vikings Roster

Brett Favre in a Vikings Jersey getting ready to pass
I posted a Brett Favre Poll a few weeks ago, the basic "Will he or Won't he" be back in the Twin Cities to play football on the Minnesota Vikings Roster. First of all, let me just say THANK YOU to everyone who has voted, I never thought I would get so many votes but it definitely makes it fun to keep checking back.

I'm still of the opinion that I would like to see Brett Favre come back and be the Minnesota Vikings Quarterback... Mostly because, love him or hate him, he had a great football career and I would hate for his last game ever to be such a crappy one. But also because he was a great source of appeal for the Minnesota Vikings. Vikings Tickets sold really well when Brett Favre was playing... that is a good thing for our team and my boys!

For the most part (85%) of you think he will be back... So now what I want to ask all of you is do you think Brett Favre will be back out of wishful thinking or have you read something somewhere.. Let me know if you've seen or heard anything!

Minnesota Vikings Roster Update: Vikings Sign Kennedy

Minnesota Vikings Tackle Kennedy The 2010 Minnesota Vikings Roster became a little more firm this week, as defensive-tackle Jimmy Kennedy resigned for a 2 year $6 Million contract. During the 2009 Vikings Season, Kennedy had his best pro-season making 18 tackles and 3 sacks. With the offensive side of the roster still in question, the Minnesota Vikings are glad to see Kennedy re-sign and firm up the defensive side!

Welcome Back Jimmy Kennedy!

What are Brett Favre's Plans for the 2010 Minnesota Vikings Season

I didn't realize how many people were already speculating about Brett Favre and his 2010 Minnesota Vikings Season plans... Maybe I was just trying to ignore it because it felt like the rumors flew all of last summer and I personally got a little sick of it. However, I was updating my site when I saw the almost 40 of you have voted on my poll (check the right side bar near the top).

I still can't say where I land on the poll, there is a part of me that would like to see Favre go out on a good season. Not only did he have an amazing football career that should end on a good note, for selfish reasons he was great for the Vikings Football Program. Favre gets butts in the seats and for a Football Program that has been known to be hot and cold, that is a huge draw. Check out my Brett Favre Plans Poll and cast your vote!

Vikings Agree to Terms with Lewis but still are holding out for Brett Farve Vikings News

The Minnesota Vikings roster will retain Wide Receiver Greg Lewis after negotiations settled term's of Lewis' contract. Greg Lewis was supposed to go into unrestricted free agency after this season, however the Vikings Wide Receiver who had previously played with the Eagles and the Patriots agreed to a 1-year Vikings Contract.

This past season, Lewis made a name for himself on the Minnesota Vikings roster after catching a last-second touchdown pass from Brett Farve that let the Vikings beat San Francisco. In whole, Greg Lewis played in 13 Minnesota Vikings games, caught 8 passes for 96 yards and played on the special teams.

Lewis was on a list of 5 Vikings Players who could go into free agency next season. The remaining 4: defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy, cornerback Benny Sapp, offensive lineman Artis Hicks, and running back Chester Taylor are all still working out deals with the Minnesota Vikings.

The player who always seems to be in question when it comes to his status on the Minnesota Vikings roster, Brett Farve, has yet to make any announcements about his plans for next season. With the rumor mill spitting out everything from he is going to keep playing, to he is going to coach, to he is going to buy an island and move away forever at this point it is really anyone's guess. The only thing for sure is that if the summer Brett Farve rumors fly as fast as they did last summer, Minnesota Vikings Tickets will only continue to become more and more expensive...
