A recent poll of 1,000 people throughout Minnesota found a majority approval rating for a new Vikings stadium at the current Metrodome site. 61 percent favor the same location. 72 percent of those polled say the new stadium is "somewhat or very important" to keeping the Vikings in Minnesota.30 percent were opposed and nine percent were undecided.
Similar results of other polls support the findings.
