Joe Webb is a fresh recruit from Alabama-Birmingham for the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings had originally drafted Webb as a wide receiver prospect but are now giving him the chance to show his skills at quarterback. Webb played quarterback at Alabama so he should fit in quite nicely at that spot. The Vikings coaches have taken a liking to Joe Webb and are happy to have such an outstanding player join their team. Organized Team Activities begin Tuesday, and the Vikings roster will include four quarterbacks now. The others include Tarvaris Jackson, Sage Rosenfels, Joe Webb and rookie R.J. Archer.
