Green Bay Packers Win Super Bowl XLV

Aaron RodgersWell, the inevitable happened. The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 to capture the Lombardi Trophy. As a Minnesota Vikings fan, this one burns deep. I have been raised as a purple and gold guy so to see the green and gold win this, it just simply hurts. Aaron Rodgers played a flawless game, throwing for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was named the MVP. Ben Roethlisberger had the ball with 2 minutes left, down 6, but wasn't able to mount the comeback. Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers, you earned it.

Yes they earned it, but I 'd still would have rather seen purple and yellow on that field. :)
