With the #12 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings Select.....

Blaine GabbertThe Minnesota Vikings finished the 2010 NFL season with a 6-10 record. It was an extremely disappointing season after returning 22 starters from last year's team. With the 6-10 record, the Minnesota Vikings are home to the number 12 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. It could be a very important pick for the franchise and they may land their hopeful future quarterback. Here are my candidates for the number 12 pick:

1) Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri - He is shooting up mock draft boards, and unfortunately, may be gone by the time the team picks
2) Jake Locker, QB, Washington - He was considered a Top 10 pick last season if he declared and personally, I'm still high on him
3) Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas - Big kid with a huge arm. He isn't mobile however with his 6'7 frame

4) Cam Newton, QB, Auburn - He has all the tools, can it translate in the NFL?
