The Minnesota Vikings had a bye this weekend. The players got most of last week off and were able to take a short break and rest up. They will be back in Winter Park on Monday and prepare for next Monday's game against the New York Jets in the Meadowlands. It will be nationally televised and should make for a great game, as both teams are Super Bowl contenders. In NFC North news, the Green Bay Packers narrowly defeated the Detroit Lions 28-26 and the New York Giants beat the Chicago Bears 17-3. Current records: Green Bay 3-1, Chicago 3-1, Minnesota 1-2, Detroit 0-4.
