Stadium Bill Hits the Committee Today

The bill for a new Minnesota Vikings stadium hits the House local-government committee today and the team is a bit concerned with this last-minute funding plan. The bill will cost the Vikings $264 million for a total of a $791 million stadium. The extra cash will come from taxes on everything from hotels to rental cars to NFL merchandise. Nothing is even near set in stone and there has already been a “multitude of problems” with it, according to Kelliher.
